The Twelve Days of Dash & Lily just doesn’t have the same lighthearted tone as the first book. I know books need plot, but why does the drama always have to be with the couple no longer getting along or feeling the love they originally felt? This book reminded me of The Rosie Effect. Dash & Lily's Book of Dares by Rachel Cohn, David Levithan

Such a fun book! This book was so creative and just wonderful to listen to. The notebook is Lily’s brother’s idea, but she and Dash keep it going for many days. They send each other all over New York City at Christmas time, enlisting friends and relatives to help out. I laughed out loud several times while listening to this book – at 1.0x speed no less.
