Recent Additions to my TBR List (Top Ten Tuesday #11)

Woman Reading Book | picjumbo

This week’s topic was easy. I add WAY too many books to my TBR list. The current count is 635 books. I consider my TBR shelf to be any book that’s part of my “to-read” shelf on Goodreads, which is all the books I want to read. Here are 10 of the most recent additions to my TBR list.

Recent additions to my TBR list

Vingear Girl by Anne Tyler

Added to my list after reading The Bookavid’s review.

The Danish Way of Parenting by Jessica Joelle Alexander & Iben Sandhal

Added to my list after reading this article in Mother Magazine.

Shadow Divers by Robert Kurson

Added to my list after my friend Rich mentioned having read it and loved it.

A Circle of Quiet by Madeleine L’Engle

Added to my list after listening to episode 47 of the What Should I Read Next podcast.

The High Mountains of Portugal by Yann Martel

Added to my list based on the recommendation of Heather of Heather’s Hurrah when I put my call out for books that the readers of Country Woman magazine might enjoy.

Behold the Dreamers by Imbolo Mbue

Added to my list after reading this review by The Parchment Girl.

Missoula: Rape and the Justice System in a College Town by Jon Krakauer

I love Jon’s books, so when I heard about this one (I can’t remember where!), I added it to my list ASAP.

Flying Lessons & Other Stories, Edited by Ellen Oh

I can’t remember where I heard about this book either. 🙁

Wife 22 by Melanie Gideon

After finishing Valley of the Moon, I wanted to read more of Melanie Gideon’s work.

The Danish Girl by David Ebershoff

Added to my list after my Aunt Nancy recommended it to me.

    1. I know! I need to go through my TBR and do another cleansing. It’s gotten out of control. I’m to the point where I don’t even read many other reviews because I don’t want to add to my TBR list. It’s a little overwhelming. I wish I could just read all day, everyday. There are so many books I want to get to.
